The Heyfield Adventure Hub recently hosted its very first Cosmic Adventure Night at EcoGipps. We couldn’t have asked for better viewing conditions. There were clear skies, no rain and barely a breath of wind. What a night to enjoy a magical evening under Gippsland’s dark skies.
The Latrobe Valley Astronomical Society took guests on a journey through the wonder and stories of the cosmos with fascinating presentations, insightful discussions and incredible viewing through their telescopes and astronomical equipment.
Situated on the slopes above the Macalister River (Wirn wirndook Yeerung) with clear, uninterrupted views and minimal light pollution, the grasslands of EcoGipps provided the ideal location for star-gazing.
EcoGipps looks forward to partnering with the Heyfield Adventure Hub for the next Cosmic Adventure Night.
